GREATER TOPEKA PARTNERSHIP, GO TOPEKA ANNOUNCE 2024 KANSAS INCLUSION SUMMIT FEATURING KEYNOTE SPEAKERS ERIC ELLIS AND TAMARA GHANDOUR

Topeka, KS — The Greater Topeka Partnership and GO Topeka are pleased to announce keynote speakers for the 2024 Kansas Inclusion Summit, a reimagined event designed to bring together business and thought leaders for meaningful discussions about driving positive change in our organizations and communities. The 2024 Kansas Inclusion Summit—themed “Finding Common Ground in a Seemingly Divided World”—will be held Tuesday, Sept. 17 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Prairie Band Casino & Resort.

Keynote speakers for the summit are Tamara Ghandour, a pioneer in human-centered innovation, and Eric Ellis, a leading expert in diversity, equity and inclusion strategy. Ghandour will present her keynote titled “Unlocking Human Potential: Innovate and Win Together.” With more than two decades of experience in business, neuroscience, and behavioral psychology, Ghandour has developed tools to make innovation accessible to all, including through her work on the Innovation Quotient Edge™ (IQE) assessment and her book “Innovation is Everybody’s Business.”

Ellis, meanwhile, is president and CEO of Integrity Development Corporation and will deliver a powerful keynote titled “7 Proven Methods of Overcoming DEI Opposition.” With more than 30 years’ experience in DEI strategy and facilitation, Ellis has worked with some of the world’s most admired companies to develop cultures of respect and inclusion. He is also a SHRM Inclusion & Diversity Expert Panel member and plans to share practical strategies for navigating the complexities of DEI in today’s polarized environment to achieve better business outcomes.

“We are thrilled to have Tamara Ghandour and Eric Ellis as our keynote speakers for this year’s event,” said Israel Sanchez, director of equity and business development for GO Topeka. “Their expertise and innovative approaches to unlocking human potential and overcoming current challenges will provide invaluable insights to attendees. At a time when finding common ground is so important, the 2024 inclusion summit seeks to empower us to build stronger, more inclusive workplaces and communities.”

“The Kansas Inclusion Summit is a vital platform for our community to come together, share ideas, and learn from the best in the field,” said Matt Pivarnik, CEO of The Partnership. “I have no doubt the contributions from our keynotes will inspire us to continue our journey toward a more united and inclusive Kansas.”
