INAUGURAL EDUCATION AND INDUSTRY SUMMIT PLANNED FOR JULY 25TH AT TOPEKA WEST HIGH SCHOOL, EDUCATORS AND THE PUBLIC INVITED TO ATTEND

Topeka, KS — GO Topeka is excited to announce its 2024 Education and Industry Summit, scheduled for July 25 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Topeka West High School. Organized by GO Topeka’s Trina Goss, Director of Business & Talent Initiatives, this dynamic event aims to bring together leaders and innovators in the area, from both the education and industry sectors, to foster collaboration and shape the future of the region’s workforce development.

The summit’s keynote speaker, Mark Perna, is a renowned generational workforce expert and Forbes contributor. Later this month in Topeka, he will share invaluable strategies on navigating the evolving paradigm of work and education, with his insights helping attendees understand how to guide the next generation to reach their fullest potential in the modern workforce.

The Education and Industry Summit will also feature a series of panel discussions covering a wide range of topics relevant to educators, employers, parents, and anyone interested in the future of education and workforce development. Panelists will include experts from both the education and industry sectors, providing diverse perspectives and fostering meaningful discussions attendees can bring back to their workplaces and organizations.

“We are excited to bring together a diverse group of professionals to discuss and develop strategies that will help bridge the gap between the needs of students and employers,” Goss said. “This summit is an opportunity to create meaningful change and prepare our future workforce for success—and having heard our keynote, Mark Perna, speak before, I know it’s going to be a summit worth attending.”
